This Microlot, comes from the Rumudamo station named after the small woreda (district) in Arbegona, an area in the Sidama region of Ethiopia.The altitude of is around 2,200m above sea level and located at the highest altitude among other coffee-growing areas in the country. The coffee available in this area is categorized as Highland Coffee. Hence 2020's Cup of Excellence Ethiopia's Presidential Award Winner of 2nd and 3rd Place Coffee are from Rumudamo. 

This coffee comes from small plots in the highland area of Arbegona and it benefits from the area's very high altitudes. The Rumudamo station currently works with 600 farmers who provide coffees for Daye Bensa. Daye Bensa is an Ethiopian coffee company, created and run by brothers Assefa and Mulugeta Dukamo. The brothers’ work with the Rumudamo Station farmers to bring their coffees to market. Over the years, the coffee company has significantly contributed to the local communities in which they work, ensuring that all within their supply chain benefit fairly.
